Jim Beach has spent his career helping people see entrepreneurship in a more practical, achievable way. Over the years, he has built and scaled companies, taught at the university level, written a bestselling business book, launched School for Startups, and hosted award-winning radio programs focused on entrepreneurship and leadership.
Today, Jim is best known as the founder of School for Startups and the voice behind School for Startups Radio, where he continues to share real-world business insight with audiences, entrepreneurs, and organizations around the world.
1994
Built the World’s Largest Tech Training Company for Kids
At 25, Jim co-founded American Computer Experience and grew it into the nation’s largest children’s technology education company. The business scaled to 700+ employees, reached $12 million in annual revenue, and partnered with brands like Microsoft, Intel, Lego, and NASA.

Turned Real Entrepreneurship into a Top-Ranked Classroom Experience
Jim taught International Entrepreneurship and International Business to undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA students at Georgia State University. He was ranked the top instructor out of 600 teachers for 12 straight semesters and won Study Abroad Director of the Year.
